I must not kill my housemate...I must not kill my housemate....
...but I really am only a hop, skip and jump away from it.
I like to cook. I like to cook my own meals in the house kitchen as opposed to paying too much for so-so meals at the caf or the Bison. I can't do that when the kitchen looks like it's been hit by a nuclear bomb! I don't know Ali that well other than the fact that I know she's the only one in the house other than me who cooks regularly. I used to see the disaster kitchen and give her the benefit of the doubt, but since she barged in Friday night and shoved all of my ingrediants in to a heap at the back of the counter and put all her shit in the front, didn't clean up any of the things she was finished with, and took one of my pots off the burner so she could use it all in front of me, I've had it. If this happens one more time I will let her know just what happens when you piss of a hungry Irish girl trying to cook her potatos.
So what else? 'Fraid not much. There's been a reason for the lack of update and that would be the lack of anything happening. My Aunts and my mother came this weekend, and that was fun, but nothing too huge. Always nice to see family, though.
I'm back to having my sould owned by my PS2. I thought I had escaped it, but oh no, they had to move the release date for FFX-2 up a friggin' month. I had swore that I would not buy another video game until December, but here comes Square-Enix to make me in to a hypocrite. Also, the immenant release (OMFG 2 DAYS!!!!!!!!1....sorry....) of the game I've waited almost two years for has made me crave the original. Mind you, back in Senior Year this game ruled my existence. There was the time when I was playing X, and the time I wasn't playing X (also called school). I am falling right back in to it again. The symptoms I have shown thus far are: forgoing food for X, forgoing sleep for X, getting very sad when one of my favorite characters dies in battle, sheezing in leveling time during my half hour break between classes. And...and...I want to try to get to the end before X-2 comes out. I'm sure I could do it too...I clocked over 90 hours on my first game and poked the final boss and he died. This does not bode well for my sanity...
On a final note about this, fuck you GameSpy. At least have the guy who reviewed the original review the followup. Not the friggin' XboX editor...
