So Spring Break is over way too soon. Boo to that.

I had so much fun in Toronto. Just hanging out with V is always fun and her friends in Res were awesome as well. But I will say that being up there for so long made me painfully aware of my accent :P But they were all really cool. Especially in their tolerence of me for the three hours I was just sitting in their common room not knowing how to play Spades. Pacience of saints, they had.

It was one of those vacations that I didn't really even have to go do touristy stuff. I didn't want to anyway. I just wanted to be in a different and exciting setting hanging out with friends, and I got that. Success!

Some of the best time was spent playing Crystal Chronicals. She played the attacker type character in the form of a little radish being (Lillty) and I was a lanky magic user with Madonna-style cone-boobs (Yuke). I acted as bucket-bitch and carried around the center of our magical force field. Oh the fun times we had when she would try and attack me with a focus attack and I would run away with the bucket as she was charging, leaving her to die in the poisonous atmosphere! Joy!

It would take too long to tell the stories of my airplane related neuroses, so if you see me, just ask me. They're better told verbally anyway :P

So now I'm back ::sigh::. Back to the same old daily grind...I actually fell asleep in Human Impact today. I think he noticed too...

On a related note, I'm being reminded that I will soon be done with these classes. That's right! It's course selection time! Yippee skippee hooray!

I really do get excited about picking new classes. Especially this semester.

Hmm....now what should I take?...

Aw yeah, break.

Okay so not much has happened just yet, but I was expecting that. I didn't get on the road until about quarter to four on Friday so I barely got home in time for dinner. But I'm glad I did! We had the yummy cubed pork with cumin and other spicey stuff on it, which is one of my favorite things my dad makes. Hooray!

Saturday I woke up late, but had a few things I wanted to do. First of all, I wanted to finally get the improved GBA. The one I have hurts my hands. PLUS, if I have two GBAs with me when I go to Canada, if V gets a link cable, we can play Crystal Chronicals! Hooray!

Before I went to the Gamestop, I made a trip in to Scotti's to visit Giffen. I hung around there for about an hour, not buying anything, before finally going to the Game store.

I only have a few really good GameBoy games, so before getting the new hardware, I decided to look for a new game to celebrate. As I looked through the racks of bad ports and TV show tie-ins lo and behold what do I see? SIM CITY 2000! One of my fondest childhood memories now on an awkward port to the GBA! Hooray!

So I pick up the game and a happy blue SP (it's so cool) and I head back home to play a little Sim City before mom gets home and we need to go clothes shopping. I had to get more shirts. I think I have around 7 at any given time, and that just doesn't work with warm weather coming up. Before mom got home I got a good ways in to one city...but it wasn't doing so well. I've lost my magic! But I'll get it back. If I can kick ass at, like, 13, I think I'll pull it off once I get the kinks out :P. My newest city seems to be working out well. Hooray!

After awhile, Mom got home and we went to get some new clothes. Wow. There are some very cool looking clothes that look absolutely rediculous on me. But in the end, I got a few new nice shirts and a cute skirt. But my favorite new thing is a hat that when I wear it looks rather like a fedora! Now I can wear my trenchcoat with a fedora! Hooray!

And I still need clothes, though, which I can get at the awesome stores in Toronto! Hooray!

....So now I'm bored. I was going to go to the mall, but that's fallen through. I wanted to pick up Golden Sun today, but I'm just going to go to the mall all alone. I'll probably just head down to Chester again. I feel kinda bad bugging Giffen two days in a row, but I actually have a CD I want to get (I was there yesterday looking for "Turn the Radio Off," but it wasn't there. Today I'd like to find "Oceans Ave" or "Beautiful Garbage"). But, at the end of the day, I will have to pack what few outfits I have preperation to go to Toronto! Hooray!

I was bad today. I just wish I cared more.

When the alarm went off at 8 am this morning I sat up in bed, got a sick feeling in my stomach that I attribute to lack of sleep and the skipping of dinner the previous night, turned off the alarm and went back to sleep.

I slept right through econ and didn't wake myself up until about 11:00. It felt *good.* And I don't think I'm really gonna suffer too much for it since I can just read the book for once and get the lesson. I did go to my other classes though.

Marsh finally came out and said that there would be a quiz on Friday for the sole purpose of punishing people who leave early for break. He even used those words, too. Thanks a lot, pal. Spanish went well. I think I did a good job on my portion of the group presentation. I have mad Diego Rivera skillz.

Tomorrow is going to be packing day, so I'm really looking forward to that. It'll finally get the pile of dirty clothes off the floor :P

Wow...I'm just so relieved to be done with my work for the week that I can't even think of anything more to bullshit about in this entry!

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Wow. I hereby deem this the lost weekend.

Fiday I spent hours in front of the TV playing Disgaea since I felt kind of under the weather.

Felt better yesterday since I slept until 1:00 in the afternoon. That killed about half the day, the rest of which was spent watching Runaway Jury, X-Files and just hanging out.

I ought to be doing my spanish reading, but it doesn't look sorough, so I'm allowing myself to procrastinate. Meanwhile, we're having still more bathroom troubles.

Evidently, this morning saw one of the girls across the hall walk in to the bathroom only to discover that a couple was having sex in the shower...

...What...the fuck...

What else could possibly happen to this bathroom!? First someone puked on the toilet not in it, then someone started using the wall as a deposit spot for their chewed up gum, lately people have been forgetting to flush, and *now* someone decided to start fucking in the shower stall.

I'm gonna blame the new linolium. Think about it! None of this kind of crap happened when the bathroom looked like shit! Now that it looks like a clean place people think it's okay put their knees on the ground to puke, and now the shower looks like an ideal place for a quickie.

I'm wondering if I shouldn't go spill stuff on the floor now just to test this theory.

It's so nice not to be working my ass off.

My profs have done just about everything bad possible this past week, so the week before Spring Break looks like smooth sailing. Topics is European History is always work, but that's nothing new, and I kicked some ass on my Spanish test (now watch, I'm gonna get like a 60 on it by some freak chance).

Sooo....what else has been up. Well I've been helping a bit with the Week in Review for C+H meetings by doing bad photoshop images such as putting John's head of a mermaid body ("Mer-MAAAN!") and putting dreadlocks on Vanilla Ice. My images are kind of like the equivalent of the Terrible Reenactments from SNL news...except not as funny...and much more terrible...

But on the way out of the Bison yesterday after the boy's brainstorming session, I was quckly distracted by the vendor table set up in the hallway. Ben (reffing the Adam Ferrara "Shooooe-saaale!" bit) teased me while I was looking through all the purses and I walked away with a cute pink and maroon Mat & Nat handbag (they made the blue leather on that I love). It didn't matter that I showed up half an hour late to the meeting because I had to go around looking for a printer for the pictures (I eventually ended up just walking in to Jeff M's open room and commendeering his printer).

After the meeting I played Munchkin for about an hour and a half with Andy, Carrie, Jeff (M) and Beamer. I was a bit miffed, though, that the first card I drew was something to the effect of "Amazingly Horrible Unspeakable Death." No, seriously, that's what the monster was called. Needless to say I died instantly, but the new had that I drew gave me the Magnificent Hat, so it's all good. I should get a copy of that for home.

Well I have stuff I should be doing so I'm gonna cut this off here.

You know your class is stupid when it leads you to write a stupid paper about a stupid infestation of stupid Zebra muscles.

I had no idea I'd burn out this quickly. For some reason *none* of my classes are really fun. Sure Topics in European History is interesting, but it's *so* much work and there is *so* much pressure that it really negates the fun of discussion. Spanish just feels like a waste of time. Economics would be more interesting if (a) it was later in the morning and (b) it wasn't about international economics. Don't make me talk about Human Impact on the Environment.

I think I'm going to reward myself next semester and take Geographies of Confict.

I don't know how I'd get through all this junk without friends. From here and from home. Being able to go to Galloway and curl up on a couch for a four hour long X-Files marathon is such a relief after a long day of pointless busywork. And talking to V, A, and Marie also brings be back down from the angry place that reading 200 pages about fascism will put you in.

I am so ready for Spring Break, though. Getting to take some time off ought to do wonders for my mood and maybe take my temper off the hair-trigger it's been on.

Music: The Darkness - I Believe In A Thing Called Love

You gotta take the bad with the good. Especially when the bad is just a pinprick when compared to the good.

I know the day's just started, but I already have high hopes for it. We got back the Econ test that I was so stressing about. I got a frickin' 90% on it! I'm happy but I feel like a total idiot for getting so worked up about it now :P

It's really nice out, too. I'm coasting by on a light shirt and open coat.

The only annoyance so far today is the theft of my dinner. I went to get the eggs out of the fridge for my brunch (it's, like, 10:30 by the time I get back from econ, so it really doesn't qualify for lunch or breakfast status) and noticed that the $8 chicken I bought only two days ago has been stolen! It wasn't even cooked! Who the hell steals uncooked chicken? I was really looking forward to that dinner, too...

Here is the basic jist of the open letter to the theif that I wrote on my whiteboard:
Dear whoever stole my chicken out of the fridge:
Fuck you.

But this really doesn't matter in the long run. There is still a sun out and I can still make pasta.

Everything for my Spring Break in Toronto is set, too. Only twelve days until Spring Break begins and fifteen until I get to chill in Canada. I'm already counting down. I'm deffinately ready for a break :P
