So I got hot coffee spilled on my lap this morning...

Yeah you read that right. I got my morning refill of coffee and went to Econ, just like I do every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Now I've always been a little worried that one of these days someone passing by was going nudge the handle or something and tip the mug over, spilling the precious precious coffee.

That day was today. I got about half a travel mug of coffee spilled on my lap right at the beginning of class. It was embarrassing because I came within an inch of cursing aloud right in front of Prof Kresl. Everyone saw it happen, too, so I was getting a bunch of "You okay?" 's and "Oh my God!" 's. I'm not gonna lie. It hurt. It got right on the top of my leg and just stayed there. I was also burried under my purse and a couple of notebooks, so I couldn't jump right up. Kresl took my notebooks and purse off but I still didn't get right up. I was too busy repressing the "SHITFUCKMOTHERFUCKINGASSCOCK!!!" from slipping out. When I did get up to go to the bathroom to soak up some of the coffee on my sweatshirt and jeans, I also checked my leg. A little pink, but nothing at all serious. Now all I had to worry about was the big, stupid looking stain on my right side.

It's all good, though. I was wearing junk clothes and needed to do laundry anyway. And I'm not pissed, just felt a little self-concious about the giant wet spot I was walking back to the house with. It was a total accident, so there really isn't anything to be pissed about. Someone said that I "took it really well." I dunno. I just can't get worked up about accidents I had a feeling were going to happen and could have just as easily caused. I'm laughing as I write this since it really felt like a sign from fate to do the laundry I've been putting on hold for the last week and a half.
