Music: Garbage - Why do you love me?

Turns out I'm sick as a dog. But that didn't stop me from having a good day yesterday.

Went to see Pirates 2 with Marie. It was so disappointing....The first movie was so good, and they had a chance to do even better with these ones. I mean, they knew we were only seeing the movie for Jack Sparrow, right? Then what the hell was with all the other stuff? I nearly fell asleep a few times for lack of giving a damn. That and one of the first scenes touched on my two biggest fears: Birds and eyes. Of course, birds were plucking out eyes. What were the odds, eh?

Big day comic book wise, too. I finally found a decent comic book shop...too bad it's all the way in Wayne. But I got back issues of the book I wanted. Not the new issue though. And John gave me a copy of "Catwoman in Rome" in Spanish. He's got a sweet internship at DC, and international publishing is on his floor. That was very nice of him.

Did a whole lot of nothing today except going to Minado's and starting to knit what will eventually be a pair of socks. Rock on.
