I hate it when I can't figure out if I'm sick or not.

I'm constantly cold (doesn't help that the heat's out in the office *again*), I'm kinda coughing and my nose is a little bit runny...but apart from that I don't think I'm sick. Pain in the ass.

Big news is my mom got laid off. It's been coming for awhile. I think she's pretty grateful for the break, to be honest, but I'm a little pissed on her behalf. Of all the people the company could let go they get rid of the person who makes their friggin' office function? Normally these guys can't tell their ass from a memo pad, but my mom kept them in line. Oh well. Like I said, I think this'll be okay.

Speaking of the Mother she's in NYC today visiting my new baby second cousin (cousin's son). I'd really like to see him for myself, but since I've been working I can't really just take a day off. Hopefully we'll have some sort of family event soon. Meanwhile I get pictures to look at. He's a cutie, even though he is kind of pulling a Derek Zoolander face in one of the shots. I just looked at the picture and went "....Magnum!" Only a couple people caught the joke, including the little guy's gramma...She laughed.

My other cousin's going to have her baby soon. A little girl. I kinda want to make something terrifyingly pink for her but not sure how that would go over....I do have a cute pattern for a bunny hat, though....
