I want to travel again.

That's all there is to it. I've been out in the world now and...the idea that I may never go on a great big trip again just isn't something I can deal with. If I had the option, I would get on a plane to somewhere tomorrow. Somewhere with cool weather...not so much sun...humidity, meh, I can take it....

Right now, I want to leave the office, pack a bag, and head to Ireland, or Scotland, or some other slightly murky country in Northern Europe with castles and rain. The wanderlust is getting bad...I'm out of things to do for the day, so I started looking up flights....It's not so very expensive to get to Dublin...and I know there are some nice hostels there for pretty cheap...

But who am I kidding...I can't go by myself. I'm not that tough. I'm going to want people there with me to enjoy things too. I wish we could all just go on a trip together, but life is such a barrier to that. We all have jobs, budgets, commitments that we can back out of...Jetting off in to the wild blue yonder's a little out of reach at the moment.

Plus, not that I don't love you guys to death but planning a big trip across the Ocean and keeping things together once we get there...really just isn't our style. Shit, we can't even plan things for three days in advance, let alone weeks long trips planned maybe years ahead of time. It's not in the cards. There are so many things I wish I could do with my friends, but...wishes are just that.

Meanwhile, I'll just be happy if Giffen and Box let me know if we're playing Legends tonight or not. You gotta take the victories that are within reach.
