Of all the fucking days I'm stuck at work it has to be the day where I have a thousand and one things to do.

I was in a mediocre mood to begin with but I was looking forward to getting out at three and getting all my errands done. First a trip up Route 10 for a couple of errands. Then out to Chester to feed and spend some time with Gizmo (I'm cat-sitting), then home to help with the Thanksgiving stuff as my mother totally took on more than she wants to do (whatever posessed her to offer to make all this crap when she hates cooking I'll never know) then out to the Rox just before midnight for First Thanksgiving dinner with my friends. It's a full day but workable.

Now I'm assigned to sitting around until 4:30. Then I have to drive to another lawyer's office and hand him paper while the boss does her share of the real estate closing over the phone from the other office. I have nothing to occupy me while I'm sitting here. I drank way too much coffee and didn't have enough to eat this morning so I'm jittery and edgey and a general joy to be around. I really don't feel comfortable doing this since I'm in JEANS and a SWEATER while everyone else is going to be decked out and professional looking. I'll be lucky if we're done by 6 given the severe retardation that happens whenever anyone is doing anything involving real estate. Then I'll be closing up here.

I just....I just want to go home.

No. Scratch that. I want to go feed Carrie's cat. THEN I just want to go home.
