Music: Fountains of Wayne - Radiation Vibe ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think I have an issue with being done. It might be hereditary.
I pick on my mother all the time for never being satisfied with how the house looks. She'll completely overhaul the master bathroom and immediately move on to criticising the garage. She can't just sit still and be happy she's finished something. She can't ever be done.
I might have that same problem, except to a lesser and less expensive extent.
Now that I've finished law school apps...I have to have something else to do...So now I have about 5 knitting projects going at once. I'm making progress on all of them, but it's still a little rediculous.
I actually finished one last night. I made a kind of knitted headband that will keep your head and ears warm while still letting you pull back your hair. I love it to death. I made it with some of the gorgeous yarn that A got me for Christmas from Japan (thanks again, A! it's all I can do not to wire you a couple hundred bucks to bring back more :) ). Here's a couple of pictures: 1 and 2. So that left me with a gap. A hole. Just working on a scarf, a sweater, and a sock isn't enough! I'm actually making progress on all those things and need to know what's next.
Books are the same way. I finish one and need to have another at the ready. Because what else am I going to do? I can't just do nothing.
Maybe that's it...maybe if I ever find myself done with everything...I'm dead?
Nah. That's too emo. I guess I just like being busy with nice things.
